I began dancing when I was 5 and have been dancing for eight years. Every day I have been training to become a stronger and more expressive dancer. I love dance because it allows me to express how I feel without using words. Dance is important in my life because it allows me to explore my world around me and I am thankful for the opportunity to continue pursing dance throughout my future.

The opportunity to travel to New York to meet and take master classes with the Rockettes was awarded for the performance "Trainwreck" during the Rainbow Competition for the passion and potential that was portrayed through this piece. I am excited to experience so many opportunities while in New York but the most exciting is the time I will be spending training.

Contemporary - is a style that provides a way to let loose creating a freedom in movement that allows you to let go and express how you feel throughout the piece. The expression comes from the freedom to bring together a variety of styles and techniques creating emotional expression through the rise and fall of movement during the exploration of the heart and soul of a piece.

"Trainwreck" allows me to explore the fluid stretch and compression of movement in the exploration of the rise and fall of this piece. When I perform Trainwreck, I feel like I am exploring the depth of movement that allows me to escape the world around as I focus on giving my very all to the piece.

Jazz - This style is all about energizing expression and in this piece, sass. This style allows you freedom to use a large variety of techniques to explore the musical complexity of a piece.

"Glam" When performing this piece, I am reminded how our confidence comes from our mindset and believing in ourselves. Glam is not in the styles you wear but rather how your wear your confidence and the beauty that you create. Wear *Your* Glam!
